I saw this on digg this morning and it got me thinking...Republicans are supposed to be the party "closer" to God but they hold none of the values that Jesus held. Putting aside the argument of his divinity, no one can argue that he was not a social revolutionary. Ideas like loving thy neighbor or giving to the poor were very important to Jesus. If the Republican party wants to continue calling themselves "the party chosen by God", it time they start acting like it. This brings me to a question...If Jesus was alive today, what what would be his political affiliation? ( I know he was trying to separate his beliefs from government..."Give to Cesar what is Cesars...", lets just say he had to choose)
